The Company | Dell’Orco & Villani was founded in Prato in 1964 and in 1970 it moved into its present 30.000 sq.ft. modern building. The company is located in Capalle, about 15 Km west of Florence, in the heart of Prato textile area, considered the ancient center of yarn and cloth production as well as the undisputed capital of the wool industry. | | | The new textile machine program marked a shift in the company’s mission. Originally the firm was involved in the repair and construction of textile machinery, primarily for the local textile area. The fast company growth made it possible to expand towards the current position of world leader in the manufacturing of machines and plants for the recycling of textile waste materials and fibre blending equipment. |
