The Twin Carding Opener TCO is the evolution of the single drum opener model CO. This new opener is a state of the art machine composed of two cylinders working in tandem and equipped with a number of peripheral working rollers. The machine is composed of a first section with two feed rollers clothed with rigid wire, one main cylinder that is supplied with rigid wire clothing and three working rollers clothed with rigid wire; the second section is composed of a main cylinder and five working rollers, all clothed with rigid wire.
The main characteristic of this machine is its flexibility of application. Thanks to all the various combinations available for the choice of the wire clothing, the speed ranges and the setting of distance between rollers and main cylinders, it is always possible and easy to find the right settings for the most effective opening of a large variety of non woven post production waste, even those that can not be satisfactorily processed on similar machines available on the market. The double opening principle effectively act on eventual unopened textile parts. All the motors are controlled by frequency inverters. The opener can be fed manually or by hopper feeder or feeding silo.
