OUR HISTORY

FOUNDED IN 1964

We began this business in 1964, before the concept of a "sustainable" product existed. It was an idea of Giovanni Dell'Orco and Silvano Villani, who had already been involved in the construction of textile machinery since long time. The idea was to develop a new, larger, and more productive tearing machine for the recycling of textile waste.

What seemed a crazy idea in 1964 turned out to be the path that in the following years, allowed the regeneration of new synthetic fibers (particularly nylon fiber) that were appearing on the market and which, due to their characteristics, required special care and treatments.

From old blankets and used clothing, through our machinery, it was possible to obtain new fiber that could be reused for alternative products.

From the initial business of repairing and building textile machinery exclusively for the Prato area, the company quickly turned its attention to international markets, where the experience we gained has allowed us to discover and serve new markets and sectors. Currently, over 90% of our production is being exported all around the word.
