Thanks to its innovative “medium scissor-effect cut,” the MGC cutter is a universal machine for cutting used clothes, textile, filaments, paper, or any type of plastic material to feed granulators and agglomerator mills in general.
The material is placed on the feed conveyor belt and, via a unique double-cylinder drive system, is carried in front of the cutting unit. The “medium scissor-effect cut” is achieved by a blade positioned on a support connected to connecting rods and an inertial flywheel, and a counter-blade installed on the machine’s central monolithic crossbeam, ensuring precise cuts.
This solution ensures high production with the advantages of a 700 mm cutting height machine, despite limited installed power. The machine is equipped with a mechanical device for revitalize the blade’s cutting edge while the machine is operating.
The maximum acceptable material height on the feed conveyor belt is approximately 350 mm. The machine’s feed belt can be equipped with a metal detection device. Cutting lengths can be selected between 10 mm and 60 mm.
