DESCRIPTION
The bale opener CAB is used in blending plants for medium-low production (up to 400 kg/h per station) combined with a weighing scale, allowing for very accurate precision (±1%).
It is used for the automatic opening of bales of new or regenerated fibres and has the following characteristics:
- Inclined PVC belt with stainless steel spikes fixed to internal wooden slats; horizontal PVC belt.
- The additional PVC loading belt, controlled by an independent gear motor, can be supplied in lengths ranging from 2000 to 8000 mm.
- The discharge cylinder is controlled by an independent gear motor; the position of the discharge cylinder ensures perfect discharge even in the presence of long fibres.
- The front of the machine is equipped with doors with Plexiglas windows that allow access to the spike belt and the dicharge cylinder for cleaning and maintenance operations.
- The machine is equipped with ‘dead man’ safety devices for spiked apron cleaning operations.
- All models can be supplied with a tilting platform for automatic bale loading.
