DESCRIPTION

The volumetric hopper feeder CNB is used for storing and volumetrically feeding a layer of fibers to the next machine via a  vibrating chute.

The machine has the following features:

  • The horizontal belt is made of reinforced PVC and is available in lengths of 2000, 4000, 6000, and 8000 mm.
  • The inclined PVC belt with hardened steel spikes fixed to internal wooden slats is easily removable and replaceable. The belt tension is adjustable with special adjusters.
  • The advancement of the spiked belt and the horizontal belt is controlled by a gearbox controlled by a frequency inverter.
  • Two rotating cylinders ensure a constant loading volume and perfect discharge of the material into the vibrating chute. The level of the fiber in the vibrating chamber is monitored by a photocell.
  • The discharge cylinder is controlled by a frequency inverter.
  • The equalizing cylinder is controlled by a frequency inverter.
  • The machine is modular in construction and can therefore be easily dismantled for shipping, significantly saving space and facilitating reassembly.
  • The machine can be equipped with a device for removing metal from the machine using special permanent magnets and a stainless steel chute.
  • The machine is equipped with a device for spraying the residue from the oiler.
  • The thickness and density of the fiber mat discharged from the slat wall can be adjusted by adjusting the distance between the two walls or the amplitude of the vibrating chute’s oscillation.
