DESCRIPTION
This machine is developed for the deep pre-opening of synthetic virgin fibers during blending processes, achieving a better and more uniform distribution of bicomponent fibers in blends, or for a better and more accurate final blending of the various components of a blend during transfer to subsequent machines.
The Carding Opener is composed by a drum clothed with a rigid wire, a feed belt with two feed rollers and three working rollers, all clothed with rigid wire. The feed and working rollers have adjustable speeds controlled by independent inverters for easy machine adjustment.
The carding opener CO is available in the following working widths: 1000mm, 1500mm, and 1900mm.
