The RA Bale press is an above-ground carousel baler with two boxes for the continuous baling of textile materials. The material is fed through a condenser and transferred to the pre-pressing box.
Each time a new batch of material is transferred to the pre-pressing box, the pre-pressing plate descends and compacts the material. This cycle is repeated until the bale weight set by the pressure switch is reached.
When the pre-pressing pressure reaches the value set by the pressure switch, a visual and audible signal indicates that the boxes will rotate to position the filled box under the final pressing station and the empty box in the filling position.
At this point, the final pressing piston presses the material in the box until the desired pressure is reached, then the box automatically rises, freeing the bale for strapping.
When the baler is equipped with an automatic strapping system, both the front and rear sections of the strapping unit position themselves in front of the bale for strapping.
Once the strapping cycle is complete, they move to allow the unloading trolley to collect the bale and carry it to the roller conveyor for subsequent operations (weighing, labelling and storage).
